A structure in the form of the infinity symbol denotes time. The exhibit uses colours and graphic devices to help comprehend the depth of geological time, in relation to the history of life on Earth. The installation is divided into segments representing the various geological periods. The visitor can choose which periods to explore: an audio commentary explains which life forms have appeared or disappeared, how the Earth would have looked, and much more besides.
