This large ‘self-explaining’ model features a video mapping of the entire Alpine Range. It shows altitudes, valleys, peaks and glaciers. A touch monitor and real time animations allow the visitor to ask questions of the installation, exploring a variety of topics that include structural geology, mineral geology, glaciers and hydrography, not to mention the impact of climate change on the area, with indications of the sea level and flooding of the Veneto lowlands in three possible future scenarios.
