Saturday 30 September will be a special day to visit the Museum of Nature and Humankind, as the museum will be giving the floor to conservators, scientific referents, and university lecturers who conduct research on subjects of mineralogy, geology, paleontology, zoology, and anthropology. During the visit tour, it will be possible to listen to short presentations of interesting facts about the exhibits and collections, scheduled every half hour in the rooms. For the youngest visitors, there will be a treasure hunt in stages, various activities by appointment and continuous educational workshops in the Museum courtyard: ‘A sea of shapes: a coral reef very close by!’ and ‘Be sapiens: the tangled maze of human evolution!’
The Museum will be open for the occasion until 8 pm, with a special reduced-price ticket at 6 euros that includes participation in the activities, and free admission for children and young people up to the age of 25. Outdoor activities outside the Museum are completely free of charge.

Science4All – The Festival of Science in Padua is an important project of scientific communication organised by the University of Padua and dedicated to citizens of all ages to highlight the central role of scientific knowledge in the life of the community. It is articulated in a schedule of activities between September and November 2023, and will continue also in 2024. It is a broad and diversified offer of interactive activities, aimed at people of all ages, including schoolchildren, to bring researchers into contact with the general public and to bring science to life in an engaging and fun way.
