It is as if one were entering the belly of an enormous vertebrate: the architecture of the hall recalls the ribs of an animal, between which are placed fossils of elephants, hippos, deer, bears, cetaceans and many other animals. A true rarity among these is the original fossil of a sabre-tooth tiger, along with its reconstruction besides.
